Watson & Crick

described the double

stand DNA, this one is

the base of the genetic

studies because there

are many pathologies

that can be treated if

there is information

about their genetic

reason.

There is a new

way to identify the

genes that may

cause autism

spectrum disorder

The researchers

used a functional

map of the brain

to provide a

prediction of

some autism

genes

Researchers

created an

interactive web

portal where there

is information to

any biomedical

researcher about

autism genes

This method is

cheaper and

faster than

others and this

will help to

many

investigators

I think this investigation is

so important because If we

know what genes are

implicated in different

diseases, we could develop

better treatments, plus this

method is cheaper and

faster and that's good for

everyone .

The DNA can be

damaged by

external agents like

UV radiation.

The RNA

polymerase is

responsible for

stop the

production of

proteins if there

is a damage in

the DNA

Mfd, UvrA,

UvrB and UvrC

are proteins

and they

interacting with

the RNA

polymerase to

repair the DNA

This can be a

process

implicated in

the resistance

of cancer cells

against

chemotherapy

or radiation

therapy.

I think this is very useful

for the treatment of

carcinogenic cells and

resistant bacteria

because it could be an

alternative to control the

cellular over-excited

growth

Many

syndromes have

their cause in

mutations of the

DNA

Some bacteria

could be

destroyed if We

could keep out

the mechanism

of the repair of

the ADN

If we discover

how to avoid

tumor

resistance to

therapy in

cancer cells We

could find the

cure against

cancer

Many

diseases

need a gene

therapy and if

We know

which are the

implied genes

the treatment

might be

better
