The APOBEC are a protein family

responsibles of immunological activities,

these inactivate the viruses and inhibit

mutations of ancient viruses present in

the human genome.

According to studies these proteins are influenced by enveromental factors.

Studies made by researchers at the

National Institutes of Health shows

APOBEC mutations even with a greater

number that other mutations in cancer of

cervical, bladder, breast, head and neck

and lung tumors.

The researchers examined 2680 shows with approximately one million of mutations, whose results were the 70% APOBEC mutations.

I think that this news is very important because shows a significant discovery that could change the cancer treatment and it could help to find a cure for this disease that causes millions of deaths around the world.

The autism is a generalized disorder spectrum of the development, it causes delay and especific alterations of the social development, cognitives and of the comunication with the environment.

It was a study done to 99 persons, 32 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their two parents, and 3 members of a control family without ASD, of them were the full genome sequencing for the autism and the genetic variations for this disorder.

associated to ASD and to epilepsy, social-

cognitive deficit and related syndromes

that are responsibles of ASD.

I think that this news is also very important because the discovery of the full genome sequencing for autism could allow the creation of new treatments to improve the quality of life of persons with autism and the people around. Also could allow reverse this disorder by early diagnosis.
