“SETU – Lets Bridge the Gap” is an application to bridge gap between people and police to build Safer Communities at the tap on your smart phone.

“SETU” is an unprecedented application designed to guard you. Application can be used for reporting crime, distress messaging and to know traffic rules you should follow for your safety, female can use this application to know their rights and laws related to them.

SETU stands for Social Empowerment with Technology Use. The vision behind developing such application is to provide the citizens of the city with a tool which can empower them in terms of reducing crime and to make the two ways communication between Police and Public, basically the application is for bridging the gap

Currently after launching the application in Surat City & Rural , Junagadh , Rajkot City & Jamnagar Districts for android & Iphone smart phone users, more than 1,00,000 users has registered themselves with SETU and making an efficient use of this application.

U Vote is an initiative of Junagadh Police with the Objective of increasing voting in the upcoming Loksabha Election 2014. It is first of its kind in the whole country. The idea behind this feature (U Vote) is to give a two way communication and interaction between Junagadh Police and the Voters of Junagadh.


Setu Application Features

Junagadh Police’s purpose is to provide election related information to Junagadh

voters instantly on their Mobile/Laptops. It will also enhance the voters

confidence, with the use of Special Complaint Box feature in the U Vote, any

voter of Junagadh can register his/her complaint to Junagadh Police regarding

any election related problems or issues.

U Vote is also an effort by the Junagadh Police to Enhance and increase the

voting percentage in Junagadh and to enable the voters to cast their votes freely

and fairly. In sum, U Vote is a part of SVEEP Activities undertaken by the

Junagadh Police.
