I. IntroductionCambodia can be called as an under-

developed country, the country also faces the environmental problems as with the rest of the World.

II. Sources of Water Pollution in Cambodia

Cambodia sources of water pollution are Point sources pollution is

discharged into environment through sewers or pipes.

Non-point source pollution is caused by land pollutions that enter bodies of water over large area rather than at a single point such as agricultural runoff, mining waters, urban waste.

Sewage and waste water that is produced by each household is chemically treated and released in to sea with fresh water.

Chemical fertilizers and pesticides that are used by farmers to protect crops from insect and bacteria.

But when these chemicals are mixed up with water produce harmful for plants and animals.

Global warming, an increase in earth’s temperature due to greenhouse effect, it increases the water temperature and result in death of aquatic animals and marine species which later result in water pollution.

if you live close to water body try to plant lots of trees and flowers around your home so that when it rains, chemicals from your home does not easily drain into the water.
