WHO WE ARE:

An active group of volunteers who promote

and develop Earth-friendly and people-friendly

community living concepts in Seattle and in the

Northwest.

WHAT WE DO:

We gather information about how to adapt the

Earthship concept to Washington, how to go

through the permitting process, and where to

find skilled Earthship builders.

I fell in love with Earthships when I watched

the documentary “Garbage Warrior.” Inspired, I

sought out others that want to live in harmony

with our environment locally, and set a global

example for how this can be practical and

beyond sustainable… living art made by

artists, supported by the local music and arts

communities. In October 2012, I helped found

Earthship Seattle.
