The exhibition of Yordan Kaltchev is a figurative painting, whose compositions are sandwiched by associative elements, that create a genre focus of a picture. The author is a creative thinker and does not rely on chance, I'd say there are some philosophical goals and it’s not easy to get down immediately in the subject matter - even in a still life because it playfully manipulates the viewer.

At the same time, something very fresh and light emanates from the paintings and the intellect and the craftsmanship of the artist create a very optimistic version of the actual moments of our lives.

Yordan Kaltchev lives and works in Plovdiv. He graduated the Art Academy - Sofia -speciality painting. He has more than ten solo exhibitions. His paintings are in several art galleries in Bulgaria and are bought by private persons at home and abroad. He has won national and international awards for painting. First prize for painting-Koshitze, First Prize for Painting at the 7th National Youth Exhibition Sofia, winner of the sword'' Romfea”. Teacher at the National Art High School'' Tzanko Lavrenov''.
