He met her at a party...

Page 2: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

She was so beautiful that

many guyswere chasing after her...

while he was so ordinary, nobody

paid any attention to him.

Page 3: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee

with him.

she was surprised, but, being polite, she accepted.

Page 4: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say any thing;

she felt uncomfortable, she thought : please... let me go home....

Page 5: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

Suddenly he asked the waiter, "would you

please give me some salt?

I'd like to put  it in my coffee."

Page 6: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

Everybody stared at him, thinking “how strange”!

His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his

coffee and drank it.

Page 7: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

She asked him

curiously, “ why do you have

this habit”?

Page 8: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

He replied: "when I was a little

boy, I was living near

the sea,

Page 9: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

I loved playing in the sea, I can still feel the taste

of the sea on my tongue, just like the taste of the salty coffee.

Page 10: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

Now, every time I have salty coffee, I always think of my

childhood,

Page 11: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

...and my hometown, I miss my it so much , its almost a physical pain.

Page 12: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

I miss my parents who are still living there". While saying that

tears filled his eyes. Seeing this, she was deeply

touched.

Page 13: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

That's his true feelings, from the bottom of his

heart. A man who can share his homesickness,

Page 14: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

He must be a man who loves home, cares

about home, hasthe responsibility to take care of the home.

Page 15: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

Then she also started to speak, spoke about her

faraway hometown, her childhood, her

family.

Page 16: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

That was a really nice talk,

a beautiful beginning to their story.

Page 17: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

They started to date. She found that actually he was a man

who met all her demands;

Page 18: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm & caring.

Page 19: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

He was such a good person & companion that

she actually started to

miss him When they

Were apart! ...thanks to

his salty coffee!

Page 20: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

Then their story was just like every beautiful love story ,

the princess married the prince, and they lived a happy life...

Page 21: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

And, every time she made coffee for him,

she put some salt in the coffee , as she knew that's

the way he liked it.

Page 22: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

After 40 years, he passed away,

left her a letter which said: "My dearest, please forgive me,

forgive me for telling you a lie our

whole life...but this was the only

lie I told you---The salty coffee...

Page 23: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous that

when I actually wanted some sugar, I said salt.

I didn’t know how to take back what I had said, so I just went

ahead. I never thought that could be the

beginning of our love!

Page 24: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life,

but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised

not to lie to you for anything...

Now I'm dying, I’m afraid of nothing...so

I tell you the truth:

Page 25: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

I don't like salty coffee! what a strange ,bad taste...

But I have had the salty coffee

my whole life! Since I knew you,

I never felt sorry for anything I had

done for you.

Page 26: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

" Having you with me has been the biggest happiness in

My whole life. If I can live my life over again,

I would still want to know you and have you for my wife,

even though I have to drink the

salty coffee again!".

Page 27: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

Her tears made the letter totally wet. One day,

someone asked her: what's the taste

of salty coffee? “It's sweet”. She replied.

Page 28: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

Love is not 2 forget

but 2 forgive,

not 2 c but 2understand,

not 2 hear but 2 listen, not 2 let go But 2 HOLD

ON !!!!

Page 29: The Salty Coffee ~ A Love Story

Don't ever leave the one you love for the one you

like, because the one you like will

leave you for the one

they love ...Trinity18.9.09
