Test Shoot 1

This image was shot in a studio. The eyeline is in the top third of the frame, leaving room for the masthead along the top and features, sell lines, etc. The hood up is specific to the music genre of hip-hop/r&b which is the genre of my magazine. The faux around the hood could signifie the blingers tribe as its out stands out, taking the eye to the clothing rather than the actual model.

Test Shoot 2

• Shot in a studio, the hoods up represent the r&b/hip-hop genre of music. Facial expressions show attitude, again signifying the genre of music. This shot would likely to be on a double page spread or contents page

Test Shoot 3• Image shot in the studio,

low angle suggesting power, looking down to the camera also suggests that they have control in what ever situation. The hands on hips pose suggests they don’t really care, and have an attitude linking in with the genre of music.

Test Shoot 4

• Studio shot looking up to the camera, likely to be used on contents page or double page spread. Looking up the the camera the image could be set on the page near a specific paragraph or phrase, which has a humorous/fun quote in it, due to the smile’s in the image

Test Shoot 5

• Similar shot to test shoot 3, but blurry. It’s a better shot with a more serious facial expression, would have been used on contents page or a double page spread. But because of the blurriness of the image it wouldn't be of use in the magazine
