Six Creativity Colours For Breakout Thinking

DESCRIPTION

This presentation is the one I use to explain the colours people can choose when they're in a creative brainstorm (or any other problem-analysis session). The system is based on Edward De Bono's Six Thinking Hats. I've changed the colours for logistical reasons. All of the colours in this version are available for laser printers. Which means you can print on them if you like. The way to use this is to have people choose the relevant colour, and act that role. I use this in conjunction with my MAKE A HAT preso. I ask people to make a newspaper hat (around 15 minutes worth of effort, which is fun, and friendly to the brain). They stick little cards in the hat brim to show what mode they're in. You can use any kind of hat that has a place for a piece of card. An easy option is a knitted beanie. Feel free to download the entire preso, and use it for your workshops or brainstorms.
