Selena Marie Gomez was born in Grand Prairie, Texas,

Named after Tejano singer, Selena, who died a few years after she was born.

Half-sister: Gracie Elliot, born on June 12, 2013.

Gomez met Barney & Friends Co-star/best friend Demi Lovato in 2001.

Made a cameo in Spy Kids 3D: Game Over, making it her first debut film.

Early Career

Appeared in 3 episodes on Hanna Montana in 2007, as arch enemy, Mikayla.

Got the role as Alex Russo, in Wizards of Waverly Place, on Disney Channel. 2007-2012

In the Jonas Brother's music video, Burning Up with boyfriend Nick Jonas(dated until 2009)

Got the lead role in Another Cinderella Story, alongside Drew Seeley.

Played Helga in Horton Hears a Who.
