The first word of the song is a first person possessive pronoun 'my'. The fact that it is in the first person gives a primary source to the narrative, making us believe that it is true

The abstract noun 'love' is frequently mentioned throughout the song. It is a concept that is open for interpretation and allows the audience to think of their own experiences

The attributive adjective ‘pure’ combined with the abstract noun ‘angel’ give a peaceful and heavenly feel to the song, which is then reflected in the feeling of the audience after listening to it

The pronoun ‘she’ is effective as it does not identify or lead on to who the girl is or how she looks therefore allowing the audience to paint their own picture of the girl

The attributive adjective 'true' reinforces the fact that the narrative is from someone’s actual experience as well as implying someone’s opinion

The evaluative adjective ‘beautiful’ portrays a romantic feel to the song, which is then reinforced through out. By using repetition of the evaluative adjective it reinforces the theme of romance to the audience

The pronoun ‘you’re’ continues the theme of mystery in the first verse as it does not target a specific person. This makes the song more personal to the audience as they can relate the lyrics to someone in their own life

The use of the word face makes the romance feel more authentic as it identifies the woman's looks rather than identifying a body feature and therefore objectifying her

The adverb 'never' makes us feel as though it is certain and he has been forced to give up. This manipulates the audience to have sympathy for the artist and feel a connection with him as they may have felt the same way in the past. It also makes the artist seem more 'real' as typically they have a perfect life and have there own way, so to see that they go through the same experiences and low points as everyone else can make them easier to relate to.

Again the pronoun her lets the audience relate the lyrics to their own life as it does not provide an image just an idea

The noun ‘moment’ makes the romance seem more than just a passing by and therefore acts as a intensifier as it makes the moment seem more serious. This also allows the audience to relate back to any romantic moments they have had in their life

The plural personal pronoun ‘we’ is used in this verse to make a relationship between the artist and the audience as the lyrics group them together. It also suggests that the female was aware of the romantic moment the pair shared

Again the pronoun she is used to allow the audience to create their own image of the girl or relate to a similar instance in their own life. This mysterious theme is something we have recognised and will include into our video

In the last verse the first three lines of the chorus are used. This again reinforces the relationship between the two and reinforces the romance theme shown throughout the video.

Due to the repeated use of the evaluative adjective ‘beautiful in the lyrics it is clear to our group that we must include a romance theme in our video. Although we do not want the song to completely match the lyrics, the theme of romance is too strong to ignore

The word ‘smile’ portrays a happy ending to the lyrics, could consider this type of ending in our video

However the happy ending theme is sharply ended with the adverb ‘never’ showing the audience that he has given up on chasing the girl. This again makes the audience more sympathetic to the artist as they can relate from past experiences. This type of ending will be a key aspect in our video as it must portray how the artist feels therefore must be a sad ending

The abstract noun ‘angel’ is effective as it creates an impression to the audience that the girl he is chasing is perfect. It also creates a peaceful and heavenly feel to the song
