Many students are already familiar/comfortable with

the device.Many students own an iPod already.

Activities!

Beginning Level~

Students listen to a song and while looking at the lyrics focus on spelling, word order or fill in missing words that the teacher has omitted.

Advanced Level~

Students listen to a song and respond to an open ended question.

The 4 Skills: READING

Amazon app: Allows uses to purchase electronic books and read directly on iPod.

Text documents can be uploaded to iPod and read.

Email reading capabilities on iTouch.

The 4 Skills: LISTENING

Podcasts: easily able to download and listen to directly on iPod (and usually FREE!) http://www.podcast.com

Listen to music in target language.
