How To Use The BaguaLine up the Bagua template with the main

entrance to your office or home as you’re facing into it

The entrance should be located in the bottom left hand side (Education), bottom middle (Career), or bottom right hand side (Helpful People) of the Bagua

If you’ve lined up the Bagua correctly, your Wealth & Prosperity area should always be located in the far left hand corner of a room or home

The 5 elements are Water, Wood, Fire, Earth & Metal

Each element corresponds with an area of the Feng Shui Bagua

To improve results in any area of your life, use the Bagua template to map out where these areas lie in your office or home

Decide which sector needs a boost

Add something to that sector which represents its corresponding element

The Creative Cycle Of Elements

Water feeds Wood, which in turn feeds Fire, which nourishes the Earth, which creates Metal, which then creates Water

In Feng Shui, you need to use the elements in this order for maximum results

Make sure your use of elements is balanced – avoid having too much of any one element, especially Fire


Using The 5 ElementsTo boost results in a specific area of your life,

use the Bagua to determine which element is linked with that area

Add a representation of that element to the area, or the element that creates it

Example: the Wealth & Prosperity area is governed by Wood. You could add a living plant to that area, or a water feature of some kind, because in the Creative Cycle, Water nourishes Wood

The Destructive Cycle of Elements

In this opposite Cycle (which you should avoid), Metal cuts Wood, which drains Earth, which in turn destroys Water, which drowns Fire, which melts Metal

Beware! Check your office or home for well-intentioned but unhelpful elements in the wrong areas

Example: something representing Fire (sculpture, photo, or too much red) in your Helpful People or Creative Projects areas, which are governed by Metal. Your endeavours in these areas could be adversely affected as Fire destroys Metal.

Aquariums (Aquaria?) full of LIVE goldfish – 9 fish is the best number

Pictures or photos with water or aquatic theme, but avoid pictures of huge crashing waves or maritime battles!

Wood

Living plants or flowers - avoid dried flowers or any dying or dead plants. However, silk or even plastic flowers are fine if regularly dusted!

Colours representing Wood – greens or tree bark

Add a small figurine of a Dragon to protect and guard your finances

The Dragon is the only mythical being in the Chinese Zodiac and is considered very auspicious and powerful

Put the Dragon figurine in the centre of your home, or near to your account books in your workspace

Place 3 Chinese coins (the ones with the square holes in the centre) tied together with red ribbon in the corner of the Wealth area in your workspace or business

The Wealth area should be located in the far left hand side of your home, workspace or business

You can also place the coins in your purse or wallet, to ensure both will always attract and keep money!

Place your telephone (or iPhone) in the Helpful Friends area of your desk

The Helpful Friends area is the bottom right hand side of your desk as you’re sitting at it
