What is it?

Dour festival celebrates live music

It takes place in Dour, Belgium from the 16th to the 19th of July

In 1989 the first Dour first festival was held, it’s bill was made up of 8 french bands, and it gathered 2,000 fans

Now there is around 270 artists and 144,000 fans.

The target audience for the festival consists of young people, probably between the ages of 16 and 30

The festival is a music festival which is designed for party goers “We all go to Dour to party TOGETHER and listen to exciting music.”

Dour is not sponsored by an outside company, the festival is mainly funded from the ticket sales.

The artistic policy is to promote upcoming european artists.
