VOLUME:-Volume can resist to something.-Volume can be when you put a solid in the desk.-Volume is the amount of space.

CAPACITY- Capacity is the amount 0f liquid.- Capacity can be when you put water in a

cup.- Capacity change because of the container.

VALENTINA`S PRIOR KNOWLEDGE

Volume:

-Volume is the space that a solid takes up. -Volume is measure in cubic units.

Capacity:

-Is the amount that a liquid takes up in a container.

-The amount of liquid doesnt changes it change the shape according to the container.

WHAT IS VOLUME?

Is the amount of 3-demensional space occupied by an object;¨the gas expanded to twice its original volume.

WHAT IS CAPACITY?

Capacity is the measure of how much a container can hold. We might measure the capacity of a

bottle, cup or carton anything which can

hold something else!!!

We can use different equipment to

measure capacity.

VALENTINA:A) The measure of the water flow is of 2 liters

Because if the bottle of soda measures 2 liters and when I count the 30 seconds it occupies the half so 1x2=2.

SABINA:A) The measure of the water flow of 2 liters, because when I

count 30 seconds is the half of the bottle so we have to multiply the half that is equal to 1 liter by 2 and then we will have the

answer.1x2=2

C:At day I take 2 showers.

D:In the week I take 14, because if I take a shower two times at day so 2x7=14.

E:If Valentina brush her tooth 3 times each day and she spends 15 liters brushing her tooth.

In the day I spend 76.875 gallons and 27.33 liters.
