Living in England you’ll see that it’s very common to find yourself wondering what you can do in the
rain. If you’re lucky enough to live in London there’s actually a lot of things you can do to keep
yourself busy.
Although going out for a nice walk or a picnic is off the cards there are still plenty of places you can go to so you can escape the rain such as
indoor play centre, London museums or bowling alley's.

Why don’t you have look online at all the latest movies? It’s nice going to the cinema once in a while and you can’t go wrong watching a movie and settling down with a big box of popcorn and
some sweets.

If you want to do something that will really burn off some energy then why don’t you go ice
skating? You can zoom around the ice rink and then treat yourself to a nice mug of hot chocolate
afterwards.

There’s plenty of museum’s around London so you can have fun and learn at the same time whilst keeping yourself dry from the rain. It’s always great to learn about your history and pick up a
few interesting facts along the way.

Have you ever walked past a nice restaurant and thought to yourself “We should go eat there one day”, Well why don’t you call up an old friend or your family and invite them out for lunch and a coffee? You get to eat at the restaurant you’ve had your eye on as well as a lovely catch up.

Retail therapy is always a good way to get over the rainy blues. Why don’t you go out and treat yourself
to a new outfit? If you’re not after anything in particular it’s always nice to just get out the house and stretch your legs. London has a fantastic array
of shops so you can get stuck in all day.

Swimming is a great way to exercise your whole body and it gives you the chance to let off some
energy you've had building up whilst stuck indoors. Pools tend to be heated so you don’t
have to worry about feeling the cold.

If you've got kids who are stuck indoors staring at the rain then take them to an indoor
play centre. London have loads, so you’ll be spoilt for choice on where to take them. They can
run around all day and won’t be bored sat at home.

Going to see a show in the theatre is always fun and exciting. There’s heaps of places around
London where you can go see a show, so have a look around at all the venues and see which ones
you prefer.

It’s always good fun trying to hit down 10 pins with a bowling ball. Most bowling alley’s do food and drinks so you can have lunch and enjoy a
day bowling with a group of friends or your family.

Staying at home whilst its raining doesn’t always have to be a bore. Try digging out some of those
old board games like Monopoly or Cluedo. They’re always great fun to play with your family
and can keep you busy for hours.
