Government Engineering College (GEC), Bhavnagar is one of eight

New Government Engineering Colleges established in July-2004. The

institute offers an outstanding learning environment. Faculties are

dedicated to provide the students global business capabilities required

for success.

The College is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU),

Ahmedabad and Approved by the All India Council for Technical

Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

Earlier this institute was affiliated to Bhavnagar University. The college

offers Undergraduate B Tech Courses in various engineering streams.

The college is located in peaceful and sylvan surroundings area of

academic hub of Bhavnagar City, just 1.5 KM away from the State

transport Depot and 2.5 KM away from Bhavnagar Railway Station. The

institute is spread over 43400 meter square and has separate building

blocks for most of the departments The college has Library containing

thousands of books and periodicals on various subjects, Hostels,

laboratories, computer center, Training and Placement cell, Alumni

Association and cafeteria.
