My story begins• I was born in New York (USA) .• My passion was mathematics.• Mi family always encouraged me to study.• Assistant mathematics.• I decided to join the armed forces.• I attended school for naval cadets women, graduating in 1944 and

earning the rank of lieutenant.• I was sent to Harvard to work in the computing project.• I leave the armed forces.• I went to Harvard as a researcher alongside Aiken. I made several

accounting applictions for Mark.• In 1949 I started working at Eckert in Philadelphia at that time

devoloped the BINAV and UNIVAC I computers.

In 1952 I developed the first compiler of history It´s name was A-0

1957 I made the first compiler for data processing commands used in English, the B-0 (FLOW-MATIC), whose main application was the calculation of payroll.

In 1986, I retired from the Navy definitively, being at that time the older officer in the US Navy After my retirement, I joined as a consultant at Digital Equipment Corporation, participating in industry forums.

Finally in 1992, God decided he needed me to his side and went forever.
