Youth EmpowermentENACT - ENergy Academy to Create renewable Transformation

Key achievements• 141 youth were trained and certified as solar technicians, out of which 31% are female candidates. • The students were a mix of employed people in the field of AC mechanic, electrician (kind of unskilled

labors) and final year students from ITI/diploma colleges.• A comic book was developed for school children titled “ENERGY STORY” with quizzes and DIY

exercises to promote understanding of the concept of energy and RE• Further to create more awareness among the youth on solar technology, awareness sessions were

conducted at schools and colleges in which 863 students participated.• A mobile van was built with a solar fridge installed and a home lighting system with LED bulbs inside,

which was used for creating awareness in the rural areas during students mobilization for the training.• Job placement sessions were facilitated to connect the students with the core companies

The Guidebook - ExercisesNow that the child knows all the goals, it is evidently time to test what

he has learned. This is very important as this shall help retain and embed the teachings the child had learned from the book.

The book exercises were designed to be simple but clear, perfect for Gen Z and Alpha. Example Quiz is as such of that above.
