Our RCE (RCE-GWS)Greater Western Sydney (GWS) is located in the western part of the Sydney metropolitan area, in Australia.
Our region is known for:• Economic opportunity• Community aspiration • Environmental diversity
Australian Youth• Classed from aged 15 – 25 years old• Make up ~ 14% of our population
RCE Greater Western Sydney• Formalised education/youth programs• High school students and University
students• Engaged with over ~ 12,000 students

Our Youth ProgramsThe Business of Sustainable Tourism
University program: 8 WSU students visitedRCE Tongyeong, South Korea on study exchange for two week intensive assessing sustainable and cultural aspects.
Students for Sustainability Conference
University program: Conference aimed at undergraduate students around themes of food, ethics and environment with over 110 attendees.
Student Enrichment Programs
School program: University collaboratively runs environmental high school programs as part of learning. Encourages students to think about higher education.
Youth Eco Summit
School program: University collaboratively runs a two-day schools event around sustainability. Encourages/fosters youth environmental stewardship.
My Role in RCE-GWS
Work with students and partners. Coordinate and participate in RCE events/projects. Secretarial support of RCE and coordinate of
meetings/communications.
