Wimbledon has a long history as a specialist art
institution – we’ve been around since the
1890s.
Wimbledon has an excellent reputation in the
industry for both its Theatre & Screen and Fine
Art specialisms
All our academic staff are practising artists,
designers and makers.
Our small campus also means that you get a
really personal experience here at Wimbledon
whilst at the same time being part of a much
larger creative community.

creative industries and provides the
opportunity for students to exhibit their work
and gain experience alongside practicing
artists from the 1st year.
In the second year of the course as part of the
Personal Professional Development module,
students undertake either a placement with an
artist or gallery or other forms of professional
experience such as organising or curating an
external exhibition.
