SUMMARY OF OUR FILM Our film is based on a American high school teenagers lives; a teen comedy genre.

Our story line of our title sequence is a stereotype based films with all American teen elements, such as the jocks, popular kids, the pretty girls, the freaks and so

on. These characters and high school events are shown through out the film which helps highlight the genre.

Story line- the popular girl stereotypically falls in love with the captain of the sports team. In this case our popular girl Casey's is supposed to fall in love with Brad,

captain of the football team. Casey is not too sure about this as her thoughts on brad are not very strong, she sees his true colours of him being a player when in

relationships, which does not appeal to her what so ever. Along side her is her best friend Fin, Fin is the nerd of the school and they have been best friends even since they was little. Little does Casey know that Fin is secretly in love with her and she

loves him to but doesn't know that yet. The high school dramas and situations help them to discover their love for each other.

REFERANCES FROM OTHER FILMS

• We are influenced by other films from the teen comedy genre such as Wild child, Clueless, American pie and The Breakfast club. We think elements from all these films connected in away and when released they were huge success in the film industry. Ideas such as who to chooses as main characters came from watching these films, we analysed them too see who would be perfect as the main character rolls. For example Emma Watson was the main character in Wild child, she was a bratty, confident, bitchy girl in this film and that's who we needed for our popular girl.

STARS

Lucas Till Jock

Emma RobertsPopular Girl

Ezra MillerNerd

We chose Lucas Till due to him previously working in films such as The Hannah Montana movie as Miley’s love interest.

Emma Roberts is the typical mean girl in all her films, for example in Wild Child, she plays the main character, also in TV series such as Scream queens she plays again the typical mean girl.

We chose Ezra Miller because we think he has this nerdy look about him and due to previous rolls in other films we think he would fit perfectly and really emphasis the geekyness about the character.

GENERAL INFORMATION• Genre-Teen Comedy- The genre of our film is teen comedy, we think that by having

teen comedy as our genre that we will be able to develop and produce a unique title sequence because teen comedy can be portrayed in many ways.

• Soundtrack- The soundtrack to our title sequence will be a fun and bouncy, as every teen film the music is usually similar in way. You can easily identify what film genre the music belongs to when listening to it. So our music will be a typical teen movie song, and we will research into other films such as Mean Girls, Clueless and American Pie to see where and what kind of music they used.

• Director- Mark Stephen Waters- We chose Mark Waters because of he's successful films who also has the genre of teen comedy (Mean Girls & Freaky Friday). He's a huge director in America and I though his ideas and style would work well with our title sequence idea. Plus he's based in a American so because our idea is based around a American high school he can help us develop our idea further and better than before.

TITLE SEQUANCE IDEA • Our idea is the have our whole title sequenced performed through a year

book, with clips of movement from the characters however the whole idea is based around a year book. The book will contain pictures of the characters posing for there year book photo, however when it comes to editing we will place videos of them where the pictures would be of them doing some kind of signature pose that their character would do. For example a jock would be playing with his basketball, so for the main jock we would video him walking into the camera shot, spinning the ball on his finger and ending with him catching it. We will do this for all characters as they have there own page in the year book.
