15. Pronominal Verbs in Preterit and Imperfect The pronominal verbs in Spanish are those, which take the se affix, added to their bare infinitive: - ar , - er , and - ir . The se affix changes into me , te , se ( singular & plural ), nos , os according to the personal pronoun to which it refers. Examples: (yo) Me ba . (yo) Me ba aba . (I took a bath.
