Most meaningful: hands-on training and future planning with Lake & Horne Denton's workshop; the practical tips doing the case study; Getting a systematic approach to how libraries can present data management to their researchers. Working through the case study and working in groups was very helpful. I think we would have benefited from having more time to do the case study or if it was distributed at the end of the first day, people could review it before. The case study was interesting-but seemed a little bit basic. The hands-on Tuesday session was VERY helpful. However, I thought the example case was more bench science than clinical which leaves some unanswered questions about clinical data extraction, management, etc.
