Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his wife. The Taj Mahal’s construction started in

1632 and completed by 1653. The whole structure is built with pure white marble

and one of the seven wonders of the world. It was named a UNESCO world heritage

site in 1983. Every year millions of visitor visit the Taj Mahal but now there is limitation of visitors because the air

pollution destroying the white marbles of the Taj Mahal.

The Pyramid of Giza is located in Egypt and was built 3000 years ago. But no

one knows how they were built. The largest Pyramid was built by the Pharaoh Khufu. In

2011 due to the Egyptian revolution the tourism is down till the revolution is over.

Nabataeans, it is a symbol of Jordan as well as its most visited tourist attraction. It lies on the

slope of Mount Hor in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of

Arabah (Wadi Araba), the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. Petra has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since

1985.

built as early as 7th century BC by Chinese Emperor. It is built on east to west line across the northern border of china to

protect the Chinese empire. It is one of the seven wonders of the world and the only

thing that we can see with naked eye from the moon.

The Parthenon

The Parthenon is located in Greece and it was created in 5th century BC. Now

it is broken but one of the most famous historical place for visitors. The temple is used as a house of treasury and stands as a symbol of the power of Athens. Large part of it has been destroyed by wars but luckily the

structure still stands.
