Evernote!The best notes you’ve ever taken!Evernote is an app that acts as a computer notebook. It allows students to take notes and organize them by subject, class, date, etc.!

This app acts as an interactive “notebook,” which lets students keep track of notes without tons of papers that might be easily lost.

Since it is computer based, students can record audio (in case certain notes are missed during lecture) and go back in to edit notes based on in class notes and supplemental material.

Show of HandsWe ARE democracy!!This app allows students to participate in voting on a personalized scale.

Students can submit poll questions anonymously and watch as the results roll in!

This allows students to witness the democratic process within the classroom. This can easily be integrated into a civics lesson or just be used as an early method to help create class rules that students are a part of!

Field TripLets explore the world!Field Trip allows students to visit parts of the world without taking a plane, train, or school bus!

Students can examine many amazing places in the world and choose to “visit” places they want to see but may not be able to visit!

This allows students the opportunity to think outside of the box and maybe look into things they may want to learn about that aren’t included in day to day curriclum.

This may also serve as a resource for research!

EduClipperClipping made easy!This app allows teachers/students to pick and choose information from online news articles, magazines, photos, etc.

You can “clip” sections from whatever portion you choose.

This gives both teachers and students the option to highlight valuable information, which eliminates distracting information!

MoMaLearning Art in a modern way!While we all wish we could visit New York’s Museum of Modern Art with our students, it just isn’t realistic.

This app allows students to learn about modern art in a new way!

Art History, while very fascinating, can be daunting to students. Old works and styles are sometimes confusing to students in this age. This app gives students the opportunity to learn about modern art in their own way.

The app even offers audio tours for users!

Activity Spot Learning IS fun! In this app, teachers can design lesson plans that include different activities and quizzes for students to complete.The app keeps track of student progress so it can really help teachers as well!It includes several ready-to-go activities that are directly linked to CCSS!

Scoot PadTaking learning home!This app is a learning platform that can be used for math, reading, language, spelling, writing, and more!

It also can keep track on attendance, behavior, progress reports, and assignments.

This app allows for a stronger bond between the school environment and home environment.

Beyond TextbooksBuilding learning with tech! This app is great on its own but even better if the teacher is using a Pearson textbook!

This uses games to help get the students engaged in learning. It is best to use before a lesson or at home in addition to homework.

Students will also have in mind areas that they are confused about and communicate that to the teacher.

Socrative LearningTwo apps in one!The teacher uses Socrative Teacher and the students use Socrative Student, then they link up!Teachers can create quizzes and other types of assessments to better gauge their student’s progress. Then, teacher can check on the student's progress.

I-ToochElementary my dear!With over 18,000 activities this app is great for teachers to use because they will have so many options.

It can be used for math, language arts, and science. It is also a full learning solution which helps parents, teachers and students to identify and address their learning needs in a fun and motivating way using badges and achievements.
