Before the world was created there was nothing but darkness and God. Then God said “Let there be light” and it happened. God separated light from darkness. He called light “day” and darkness “night.” God looked at what he had done, and he was pleased.

That was the end of the 1st day.

On the forth day God made 2 great lights. One to rule over the day and one to rule over the night. He called them sun and moon. God also made stars to shine to the night. So it happened. God looked back at what he had and was pleased.

That was the end of the 4th day.

God said “let the water be filled with swimming fish and the sky be filled with flying birds , and so it happened. God looked back at what he had done and was pleased.

That was the end of the 5th day.

On this day God made animals both wild and tame to roam the earth. God also made both girls and boys, God’s own joys. Every single one of them made in God’s own likeness. God looked back at this day and was pleased.

That was the end of the 6th day.

God rested on this day and went over what he had done and was pleased. God blessed this day and made it holy.
