Construction : Teaser Trailer

Page 2: Teaser construction

I used Final Cut Pro to edit my teaser trailer

This is where all the footage I had shot was placed after it had be imported from the hard drive. From here I was able to drag each clip onto a timeline where from there I could start editing.

Page 3: Teaser construction

These are to tracks that I was considering including in my teaser trailer. I downloaded them off the internet and from there imported them from my desktop into final cut pro

Page 4: Teaser construction

This is an example of one of my clips that I dragged onto the timeline.

Page 5: Teaser construction

This is how my project looked like, at the bottom left of the timeline you can see a slim rectangle on top of a clip of mine, this was because it’s an audio transition (cross fade) this meant that the music I had I faded in and out rather than starting and ending abruptly.

Page 6: Teaser construction

Here’s another image of my project on final cut pro. Where you can see a line going straight down through all clips was my marker this told where I was on my timeline.

Page 7: Teaser construction

The editing process is going well .but the problem I’ve encountered is that when my teaser trailer isn’t being played you can see these lines going through the video as you can see on the right hand side . And this yellow signs showing me that something is wrong.

Page 8: Teaser construction

You can see the video transition I’ve done (fade in fade out dissolve) and an audio transition (cross fade) on each clip on my timeline.

Page 9: Teaser construction

Here you can once again see some of the activity on my timeline as you ca see at the top I’ve used a video transition (fade in fade out dissolve) to show that time has gone by in my teaser trailer. With the audio transition at the bottom (cross fade) making the audio of the music fade in gradually and fade out.

Page 10: Teaser construction

Here you can see the transition I’ve performed on which clip on my timeline.

Page 11: Teaser construction

You can see my whole operation almost on final cut here my timeline, where I am on it

This is the title I used for my teaser this is the name of it and the font I used for it.

Thus where I can control my audio by locking these pad lock items I can edit audio without effecting anything else.

The text used here is animated as you’ll see on the following page.

This is the font I used to at the end of my teaser trailer

This is an effect that I included on this clip in my timeline. This is the end of my teaser trailer also .

I decided to us a cross fade on the music at the end my teaser trailer so the music faded out.
