Team Teaching
• When 2 or more teachers work together to plan, execute and reflect on a lesson to the same group of students at the same time. (Please do not confuse what we consider above with other types of educational teaming)
• 77% of middle schools in the U.S. now use some form of team teaching according to John Lounsbury, publications editor for the National Middle School Association. – “ When team teaching is fully implemented, research has shown
it leads to an "improved work climate, more frequent contact with parents, increased teacher job satisfaction, and higher levels of student achievement.“

1. Ask yourself first if you even want to team teach. No one should be put in this situation unwillingly.
