Personal DemographicsWe are both Social Science Education

majors but when we heard about this opportunity, we jumped at the chance to work with these amazing kids!

Working with these youngsters proved to be both challenging and rewarding.

Engagement Activities We engaged in a variety of activities that were not

limited to lunchtime including: Helping with naptime, reading and writing activities,

being an extra set of eyes and ears on the playground, and teaching appropriate table manners and etiquette.

These duties were performed during all of our visits that occurred on Thursdays and Fridays and greatly assisted the teacher, Mrs. Ramos. In addition, the students took to us and we formed a relationship that allowed them to learn in a comfortable environment.
