The BIG Cake Show are teaming up with some of the nation’s favourite baking stars to inspire budding bakers to show off their skills and knowledge at the region’s largest cake and baking show

What is it all about?

Design and make your take on ‘Cake – with a Healthy/Savoury Twist!’

• There will be entries from all over the South West • Your entry will be judged at school and winners will be invited to The BIG

Cake Challenge regional heats

What do you need to do?

• The winner from each school will compete with other pupils from around the South West for their place in the BIG final

What happens at the regional heats?

• A winner from each region will be in the final

• Final bakes will be judged and tasted by a panel of well-known experts at The BIG Cake show in March 2015

• The winner will be presented their award on stage live at the show!

• Everyone who takes part will receive a Big Cake Show certificate

• Present an original cake with a healthy/savoury twist• Bake within a budget of £5• List your ingredients• Write up your recipe
