YouTube provides users tools that allow them to upload videos for viewers to watch on their own time.  

These sources allow individuals to share videos from personal, educational and professional backgrounds while maintaining a professional level of learning for viewers that are of different ages, languages, and gender.

The focus of this social media is to allow registered members to establish and document networks of people they know and trust professionally.

On a member’s profile page, it emphasizes skills, employment history, and education.  Membership is free, and network members are called connections.

Unlike other free social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter, LinkedIn requires connections to have a pre-existing relationship.
