This is my Slideshare update. I changed a couple of minor things I noticed while reviewing the presentation for a class I will be teaching for staff development.

SlideShare: the new way to share ideas!

What is SlideShare?

SlideShare is a site designed to allow users to share certain files across the internet, and others can even embed you slideshow on their

website!

These files include: PDF, DOC, PPT, and Keynote among others.

SlideShare in 9 Easy Steps

After that, a few extras…

Open a web browser and type slideshare.net into the address bar.

Hit Enter to go to the site.

Click on the Signup link in the top right-hand corner.

Page 6: Slide Share

Enter your details and click Join now.

Page 7: Slide Share

Persevere a little longer and enter “just a few more details” then click

Sign Up.

Skip the next step by clicking the Skip this button.

Breathe deeply; we are now going to upload a document:

From the SlideShare Upload page click the “Browse and Select” Files

button

Select the file (or files) you wish to upload

Describe the file so others can find it!

Click the “Publish” button.

Done!

You can then check on the progress of the file being readied for others to view.

Now what?

• Since SlideShare is now a part of YouTube, you have the opportunity to integrate the two! • This also works with TeacherTube!
