ALBUM COVER QUESTIONNAIRE A look into what my target audience would like to see from my own cover.

INITIAL IDEA I conducted a

survey based upon these four album covers. I then asked the audience questions based upon which aspects of each cover they liked the best.

QUESTION 1- WHICH COVER DID YOU FEEL HAD THE BEST FONT?

From this question, I will attempt to do a font similar to either D or B’s font style.

QUESTION 2 – WHICH COVER DID YOU FEEL HAD THE BEST USE OF COLOUR?

From this question I will try out both a colorful style and a sepia-based

tone to see which works best since A and D are nearly equal.

QUESTION 3 – WHICH COVER DID YOU FEEL HAD THE BEST USE OF POSE?

question represent this.

QUESTION 4 – WHICH COVER DID YOU FEEL HAD THE BEST DESIGN?

From this question I will experiment with similar designs to D since it is the most popular.

QUESTION 5 – WHICH COVER DID YOU FEEL HAD THE BEST USE OF ACTORS/PROPS?

From this question I will experiment using types of props from C and D but both of these are quite similar already so I have a clear

idea what I’d like to try.

QUESTION 6 – WHICH COVER DID YOU FEEL HAD THE BEST LOCATION?

From this question I will place my actors/props in a baron-like setting being surrounded by other objects/creatures rather than

an actual setting.

CONCLUSION

From conducting this survey the most popular cover was cover D. I will attempt to recreate a cover similar to this one when I design

my own. I was very happy this one came out to be the most popular due to the abstract feel it has and I feel it would fit in well

with my song/genre and album cover.
