ADAPTATION QUESTIONSBy Declan Pyne!
REMEMBERINGBloom’s Taxonomy Question 1:
Q: Is a zebra black with white stripes or white with black stripes?(the answer is commonly said wrong)A: The answer is actually white with black stripes
UNDERSTANDINGBloom’s Taxonomy Question 2:
Q: How could dogs understand humans?A: Dogs cannot understand human words, they can only make out human sounds
APPLYING• Bloom’s Taxonomy Question 3:
• Q: What would happen if you dropped a chicken on the moon?( with a space helmet
• A: The chicken will have to adapt to the environment on the moon. eg: food, water, shelter. If it can get all that, it can survive
ANALYSINGBloom’s Taxonomy’s Question 4:
Q: What is the relationship between feral cats and stray cats?A: They have 2 different lives, but when you put them together in a normal environment, the stray cats would probably die first because feral cats like lions would think that the stray cats are food and also stray cats are very lazy and slob-like so they will become very sick and unhealthy and finally die of sickness
EVALUATINGBloom’s Taxonomy Question 5:
Q: What are the pro’s and con’s of elephants?
A: The Pro’s are: They have long tusks to spray water up on them, They are tall so not many prey can eat them whole, They are big so they can look over many things to look for predators, They have a brilliant sense of hearing, and they have a highly developed brain. : The Con’s are. They have lots of meat on them so the predators can get a good meal out of them, They are the only mammal on earth that can’t jump, They have poor eyesight, they are big so animals can get more food out of the elephants, they are really really slow, they regularly break branches to reach food which breaks the ecosystem, they are the largest animal on earth so they are literally made for destruction, eg: they break fences and farms. They even knock over whole trees. They are indestructible!
CREATINGBloom’s Taxonomy Question 6:
Q: Could you create an environment that ALL animals could live in? A: Yes, It is possible, if you put lots of water and food into an environment, tame the wild carnivorous animals to keep the small, harmless animals safe like rats, mice, ferrets, small cats and dogs, hamsters, rabbits, frogs and even small birds! You would also have to make it the right temperature for every animal. It would also have to be a big environment to fit all the animals big and small. You would also have to make shelters for the animals. The animals would have to do some work too, they would have to adapt to the environment! If all the animals could adapt to this one environment correctly, it would definitely work.
