Children with these special needs will, I believe benefit from attending a general

education class and being given these accommodations. The children with special needs

will strive to push themselves to keep up with rest of the class and really show their

potential. Special needs children should never be counted out or expected less from

within reason. If the child is physically or mentally unable to perform the task then the

teacher should realize this and make accommodations or if needed modifications on the

activities. The mixture of special needs children in a general education class will benefit

both the special needs children and the rest of the classroom. Children with special needs

long to be with everyone else and to be treated the same not singled out because of the

their disability. The rest of the classroom will be taught diversity and how to tolerate

others who are different.
