Black back• Hard to distinct from the dark ocean

• Located at same place as a human's ears• Covered by feathers Calls are distinctive

• Can find its partner throughout a colony of several hundred other penguins that all look

alike

BILL (BEAK)• Catch food, preen penguin feathers and as a

• Spiky spines pointed towards the throat that help in swallowing living food

Teamwork – They look out for each other in a huge community

and warns others in case of danger Graciousness – They walk gracefully like a bunch of

gentlemen. Perseverance –They do not give up when finding

their food and escaping from predators.

Commitment– They take care of their young and aid them until

adult.
