Acids are chemical substance having a sour taste and the ability to turn blue litmus to red.Eg: HCl, H2SO4 etc.

Bases are chemical substances having a bitter taste, slippery to touch and it turns red litmus to blue.Eg: NaOH, Mg(OH)2 etc

Neutralization ReactionNeutralization is a chemical reaction in which an acid and a base react with each other to form salt and water.
