About Me…I am Ms. Jordan and I believe everyone can learn and have an enjoyable time in class as well.I am a graduate of Forest Hill High School.After graduating, I attended Mississippi College, getting my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.I am currently attending Belhaven University obtaining my Master’s of Education.I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and encouraging you throughout this school year.

General ExpectationsPlease follow directions the first time they are given.Be on time and ready to go on a learning adventure!Respect your teachers, administrators, peers, and yourselves.Be prepared for daily discussions with at least one question.Please keep all conversations positive.Follow school dress code.No bullying, fighting, or negativity in general is accepted or allowed.

HomeworkHomework is due immediately upon entering classroom in designated basket.If an assignment is not completed in class, it is assigned as homework.In special cases (determined by teacher), there can be a make-up of homework without point

deduction.In other cases, late homework will

accepted with a deduction.

ATTENDANCEPOLICY

Attendance is MANDATORY.In order to get your

full learning experience, you must be here.

Make-up WorkThere will be make-up days periodically throughout the year/semester.Any homework or test with a grade lower than 70/C is required to be made up on these specified days.The make-up test will be a different version.If you know ahead of time that you will be missing school on a test day, you are responsible for taking the test beforehand.If you have to miss class without knowing beforehand, you or your parent are responsible for contacting me through the class’s Remind 101 thread.Upon your return, you are responsible for getting me a proper excuse and get any missed assignments. Those assignments are due within a week after being assigned.
