Learning Management Systems (LMS) are online learning tools that can be used for a varying range of purposes. Ellis (2009)
describes the software application as valuable for
“administration, documentation, tracking, and reporting of
training programs, classroom and online events, e-learning
programs, and training content” (Ellis, 2009, as cited at http://www.astd.org/NR/rdonlyres).
Learning Management Systems
Performs learners registration, tracks learners progress, record test scores, and indicate course completions, and finally allows the educator to assess the performance of their learners.
Learning Management Systems manage, track and report on interaction between the learner and the content & the learner and the educator.
The Learning Management Systems
