What is MATH-A-THON?

MATH-A-THON is a fundraising program that benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Sunnymead Elementary School

has participated in MATH-A-THON for many years. Have you or someone in

your family helped raise money by participating in MATH-A-THON in the

past?

Let’s watch a video to learn how we can help the children at St. Jude Children’s

Research Hospital!

Steps to Participate in MATH-A-THON

Step 1: Bring a letter home today that gives your parents information about the MATH-A-THON fundraising program. It has a permission slip for your parents to sign that allows you

to participate in the program.

All signed permission slips must be brought back to your teacher by

Tuesday, February 5th

Step 2: Collect Sponsors – people who agree to donate money to the hospital because you complete the math problems.

Step 3: Complete the Math Problems

Step 4: Collect Money from Sponsors

Please kindly ask the sponsors to write a check made out to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or make an online donation after you have completed the math problems. When you have collected all of your donations, bring it to school in an envelope.

Please do not bring any cash to school.
