My very first presentation in the first year of University (2008) It was given the highest mark from the professor and also got very good feedback from other students in the class. So I decided to upload it on here to remind me of my student time and in order to share for anyone who search for reference documents. Hope you will find what you need and enjoy it! The presentation got 3 main Chapters, showing mostly pictures and videos (I didn't put many words into the slides because I & my teams spoke it out during the presentation) 1. Overview / Purpose of Advertising 2. WAYS 2 AD (use specific example in Chapter 3) 3. Introducing a very successful advertising campaign from Japan: 「FASHION, MUSIC, VIDAL SASSOON」 ■ VIDAL SASSOON presents a fashion/music/hairstyle collaboration project featuring Japanese singer Namie Amuro, worldwide stylist Patricia Field (known for "Sex and the City", "Ugly Betty" and "The Devil Wears Prada") and hair stylist Orland Pita who's worked for Madonna and other celebrities. The keyword of this campaign is Re-Make. Each commercial & music video remakes the culture scene of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Yuichi Kodama directed the 60s' pop version featuring a song "New Look", a re-make of "Baby Love" by The Supremes. Yusuke Tanaka directed the 70s' version featuring a dance music "Rock Steady", a remake of Aretha Franklin's hit number. The campaign also won an award for BEST WEBSITE PROMOTION award in Japan in 2009.
