Volunteer Tutor ExpectationsAs a Literacy Council Volunteer Tutor, you will:

Meet with your student(s) two hours per week; Enjoy flexible volunteering by setting your own schedule and tutoring

location to meet with your student(s); Make a direct impact on your community while gaining new skills for

yourself!

No Teaching Experience?

Prospective tutors need NO prior experience in education. You need only to be fluent in English yourself and have the desire to pass
