Hello, my name is Lim Yi Fei .

My name is Lim Yi Fei. I am 13 years old .I was born in Malaysia on 7 April 1997.I live in Segamat ,Johor .I live with my father, my mother and my sister. I study at SMK Dato’ Bentara Dalam. My hobbies are reading and drawing .I like to read novels such as <Harry Potter> and <Mr. Midnight>. My ambition is to be a doctor because I can help people who are sick.

ABOUT ME

MY FAMILY I have four family members. They are my father, my mother, my sister and I. My father is a supervisor who works in a minimarket. My mother works as a marker who works in a factory. My sister is five years old. She studies in a kindergarten. She is very cute.

DATO’BENTARA DALAM Sec School

My school is SMK Dato’ Bentara Dalam. It is very big . It has ten blocks , from block A to block J. We have 92 teachers and 1200 students . I study in block B . My school has a field , a library , two computer labs , four science laboratories , two canteens and a school hall .Every day, I go to school at 7:00 a .m .At 7:10 a. m. we will have to attend the morning assembly. We will go for recess by 10:00 a.m. On Monday, we go home at 2:05 p. m. However, we will go home at 1:30p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday. On Friday, we go home at 12:05p.m. due to the Friday Prayers.

MALAYSIA Malaysia consists of three races, they are Malays, Chinese and Indians. Although we come from different races, we use our national language~ Bahasa Malaysia to communicate with each other. Malays celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Malays will receive green packets from their elders. I am a Chinese. We celebrate Chinese New Year. We will have a reunion dinner on the eve of CNY. After having it, we will play with fireworks. The Indians celebrate Deepavali. On that day, they will use colourful rice to create ‘kolam’. We live together harmoniously. In Malaysia, there are many types of food. Malay’s traditional food is satay, ketupat and nasi lemak. Chinese is famous for their pork herbal soup and fried kueh teow. Indian offers teh tarik , roti canai and capati. We eat 24 hours a day around the clock. We share our food together.

There are also many interesting places in Malaysia like Genting Highland and Cameron Highland. The air is very fresh. Tourists like to visit Petronas Twin Tower and Kuala Lumpur Tower. Many tourists visit Malacca as it is famous for its historical buildings such as Kota A’ Famosa which is built by the Portugese. This is all about my country. What about you? Do tell me about it.

MY HOUSE I live in Segamat, Johor. I live in a terrace house in Taman Pelangi. There is a Malay kindergarten opposite my house. There is also a mosque beside my house. There is a playground near to my house. In the evening, I will bring my sister there to play. My grandmother has planted some plants in front of house.

This is Sultan Johor. He is named Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.He is born on 22 November 1958 in Sultanah Aminah Hospital.

This is our prime minister, Mohd. Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak. He was born on 23 July 1953.He is the son of Malaysia’s second prime minister,Tun Abdul Razak. 1Malaysia is an on-going campaign announced by Prime Minister Najib Razak on September 16, 2008.

These are the two shopping malls in Segamat. I often go there to buy things that I need. “Giant” is the biggest shopping mall in our district and “Upwell Group” is the second biggest.
