DESCRIPTION

Sensors are ubiquitous. Any action mediated by technology can be tracked to an increasing level of detail. Learning is no exception. In a learning scenario, there are numerous interactions that may occur mediated by technology. If this is the case, there is a wealth of sensor data available to store, process and use to act or intervene in the learning environment. In this talk the potential for learning analytics as well as some of its drawbacks will be discussed.
