WHAT IS STaR? STaR (School Technology and Readiness) –an

assessment tool developed around the four key

areas of Texas Long Range Plan for Technology

2020 (LRPT2020)

Designed to help teachers, administrators,

campuses, and districts determine progress

toward meeting the goals of LRPT2020

Assists in the measurement of the impact of

efforts to improve student learning through use of

technology (No Child Left Behind)
