THE ASSIGNMENT: Students research and choose a poem of their liking to write a poetic analysis and memorize it. JOURNAL & PORTFOLIO: ONE NOTETHE ASSIGNMENTStudents are to create a portfolio based on our current unit. Independent, and outside of class.The portfolio has several categories that the students must include: Vocabulary, essential questions, printed and audio articles and visual aids. The assignment is due generally one week before the grading period is over, but occasional unannounced checks are also performed.
