Arctic monkeys – Do I Wanna Know

This is a shot from the beginning of the music video, it is the picture shown on the album cover.

The white and red lines shown replicate the sound that the bass guitar makes throughout the song.

This replicates all different sounds from the different instruments.

Throughout the video the white lines form certain shapes/pictures.

This then leads on to showing coloured pictures.

This picture signifies the end of the song much like flags signify the end of a race.

Gorillaz – Clint Eastwood

This picture is shown at the beginning of the video, it is an introduction.

This then shows the band in their renowned cartoon form which is consistent throughout all Gorillaz music videos.

This figure is shown through the rap part of the song, this may relate to him wearing a hat and a chain which is relevant to the rap culture. Also he is a different colour to the band and rap is seen to be a black dominated musical culture.

This is a shot of a group of gorillaz just risen from the graveyard chasing a band member. It is an animated scene.

This scene shows the band made it and it was all a dream, this is because the sun is out and everything seems calm.

The Courteneers – Not Nineteen Forever

This scene is the opening scene, it shows the band talking while in a café.

This shows short close ups of the singer, singing the song.

This continues to show him singing and there are a lot of hand gestures, it is as though the other members cannot see him or are just oblivious to his movements.

This shows a young man not from the band sprinting through a park/forest. (when music goes upbeat)

This shows a lady in a totally different scene, supposedly who the band is singing about.

This shows the lady in the scene with the band within the café, arguing.

This shows supposedly the drummer tapping his spoon to the drum beat.

This is shown like a sand timer and is empty when the songs is finished.
