How  to  Set  up  a  YouTube  Channel  in  3  Easy  Steps

Step  1:    Go  to  YouTube  •  Go  to  www.youtube.com  •  Click  “sign  in”  (Top  right  corner)    

 

Step  2:  Create  an  Email  Address    

•  You  will  need  to  have  an  email  address    

•  Preferably  a  Gmail  •  If  you  don’t  have  an  email  

address      •  Go  down  to  “add  account”

 •  And  than  “create  an  account”

 •  Fill  In  your  InformaNon    •  Current  email  Address:    It  might  ask  your  for  another  email  addresses  for  verificaNon      •  Mobile  Number  :  It  might  ask  your  for  a  phone  verificaNon.  

Your  First  and  Last  name      

What  email  address  you  would  like    

Password    

Your  Date  of  Birth    

Your  Gender    

Mobile  Number    

Agree  to  terms  and  condiCons      

Current  Email  Address    

VerificaCon    

Step  2:  Create  an  Email  Address    

 •  If  it  asks  you  to  verify  your  account  

using  your  mobile.  You  can  do  it  two  ways    

(1)  By  text    (2)  By  Voice  Call        •   fill  in  your  phone  number,  in  my  case  

it  sent  me  a  text  and  I  filled  in  the  verificaNon  code  and  press  conNnue.    

Step  2:  Create  an  Email  Address    

 •  It  will  than  ask  you  to  verify  

your  email  address  •  This  is  the  email  you  typed  

on  the  previous  page.    •  Go  to  that  email  account    •  Copy  link  into  new  tab  •  It  show  you  “how  you’ll  

appear”    •  Click  next  step    

Step  3:  Set  up  Your  Own  Channel    

•  Search  YouTube    •  Go  to  your  name    •  Click  My  Channel    •  Don’t  lick  OK    •  Click  “  To  use  a  business  or  

other  name”  

 

Step  3:  Set  up  Your  Own  Channel    

 •  Than  you  want  to  type  in  informaNon  of  your  channel  name  

what  you  want  it  to  be  “Charlo8e  Cunningham”    •  Other    •  Any  Google+  user    •  Agree  to  the  page  terms.    

Step  3:  Set  up  Your  Own  Channel    

 •  This  will  bring  you  back  to  YouTube    •  You  will  have  your  new  channel.    •  You  can  make  your  banners  videos  what  ever  you  want.
