Handy Recorder H2

For using as a microphone and recorder

• Switch on

• Insert Headphones Microphone of H2

1. Select a Mic pattern – Front, Surround 2 ch, 4ch , Rear. Press the left and right triangles and see the red light move from one setting to another

2. Use Front for voice over recording 3. Use Rear for interviews 4. Use Surround for background, atmospheric sound recording

Select/Check File type

Use the menu button to select file type

1. PRESS MENU > then the FF and REW buttons to scroll through Press Record red button to select

2. GO to REC MODE Scroll to WAV 48kHz/16bit press record to enter

3. Press menu to exit Before you start recording: In stand-by mode, watch recording level meter L/R. (If below 12) - In standby mode, press ffw or rew buttons to raise or lower recording level. Still low? – switch gain to M or H (on side of recorder)

PLAYBACK Each recording is stored as a file in a folder on the memory card 1. Press MENU, then FF to Folder, press REC red button to select Press Play and use FF and REW to scroll through recordings if needed

DELETING A FILE 1. Bring up the File Menu 2. Use the FF and REW keys to scroll to file and press REC button to select Use FF and REW buttons to move to DELETE option. Press REC to select CONNECTING TO A COMPUTER (using card reader) 1. Take the SD card out of the recorder

2. Plug the card reader to your computer and insert the card into SD card

slot

3. An icon for the SD card will appear on the desktop

4. FOLDER 01-10 contains audio files recorded.

SAVE THE AUDIO FILES ONTO YOUR COMPUTER
